Set up Juno integration for automated data entry

This article is for firm owners and admins only. Consider using Juno only if you use one of the supported tax software platforms : ProConnect, Drake, Lacerte, and Ultratax (support for CCH Axcess, ProSeries, and ProSystem FX coming soon)To get started with Juno integration , you need to set it up first: connect to your Juno account and assign permissions to your employees. Here’s how.
Connect to Juno
To be able to send documents from TaxDome to Juno, you need to set up a connection. To do this:
- Go to Settings > Integrations, select the Juno subtab and click Connect.
Alternatively, you can click Send to tax software link in the client’s documents.
- Click Start with 5 free returns to begin your Juno seven-day free trial. See pricing for the details.
- Choose how you would like to sign up. Or, if you already have a Juno account, click Sign In.
- Complete the sign-up form. Make sure to indicate TaxDome as your practice management software.
- At the next step, authorize integration with TaxDome.
Once the connection is established, you will be able to push client documents directly to Juno.
Juno pricing
Juno offers a free 7-day trial that includes up to 5 tax returns at no cost. After the trial period, the price is up to $40 per return. The cost per return decreases as you file more, and there are no seat-based limitations. Learn more about Juno pricing .
Reconnect Juno
If you haven’t used Juno for a while, and your connection has expired, you’ll need to reconnect Juno. You can do this in the following ways:
- From Clients > Accounts > Docs.
- From Clients > Accounts > Docs > Checklist.
- From Clients > Accounts > Organizers, inside the organizer with an attached checklist.
- From the alert that appears at the top of the screen if the connection has expired.
- From Settings > Integrations > Juno.
Disconnect Juno
To disable Juno connection entirely, go to Settings > Integrations from the left menu bar, select the Juno tab, then click Disconnect.
Access to Juno
Firm Owner and Admins can set up integration and send documents to Juno.
When you give your employees access right to work with Juno, they will be able to connect/reconnect/disconnect and send documents to Juno. To do so:

Go to Settings > Team & plans in the left menu bar, open the Team members tab, click on three dots to the far right of the employee’s name, then click Edit.

Enable the Use Juno integration toggle.

Click Save.
