1. Is TaxDome AI safe to use?

Yes. User data privacy is a priority at TaxDome. TaxDome is SOC-2 compliant as well as both GDPR and CCPA.

2. Does any third party get access to my client's documents if I enable TaxDome AI?

No. User data related to TaxDome AI is not stored outside TaxDome servers.

User data is not used for training AI either.

3. Does TaxDome AI train on my and my clients data?

No, your data is never used to train AI models.

4. How can I enable TaxDome AI?

Go to Settings > Firm settings from the left sidebar menu. In the TaxDome AI section, toggle on Rename documents and Assign tags.

5. Which documents can TaxDome AI process?

TaxDome AI is able to process common U.S. tax forms, as well as passports and drivers licenses. 

6. With which file types does TaxDome AI work?

TaxDome AI supports PDFs and all common image formats that can be uploaded to TaxDome, such as JPG, JPEG, PNG, HEIC, and more.

7. Is TaxDome AI free?

TaxDome AI is included at no additional cost in the Pro and Business plans.

8. Is TaxDome AI turned on for the whole firm or for particular users?

When enabled, TaxDome AI is active for the entire firm and for all of its clients.

9. Why do I need to use TaxDome AI?

TaxDome AI streamlines the organization of client workpapers, saving you both time and effort. Clients often upload documents without proper names, leaving you to manually rename and sort through hundreds of files. TaxDome AI takes care of this for you by automatically renaming and tagging documents, making your workflow much smoother.

10. Can TaxDome AI make mistakes?

While errors are rare, accuracy is not 100% but is consistently improving. When clients upload files, they can view the suggested names and make changes if they notice any inaccuracies. Firm staff can also rename files and change tags at any time.

11. Will TaxDome AI require significant changes or adjustments to my workflow?

No. TaxDome AI fits right into your current workflow without any hassle. Just enable it in your settings and it works automatically. From then on, you’ll get properly named and tagged documents instead of a messy pile to sort through.

12. Can I customize the tag and naming conventions?

No, TaxDome AI is using predefined naming conventions. However, we welcome feedback on the naming conventions you prefer— reach out to our team!
