Stripe transaction fees

Processing payments on TaxDome is free. You pay only the standard Stripe processing fees, which are automatically calculated when a client makes a payment. Stripe transaction fees vary depending on the country.

United States

• Credit and debit cards: 2.9% + $0.30 per transaction
• International cards: additional 1.5%
• Currency conversion: additional 1% if the charge currency differs from your payout currency
• ACH direct debit: 0.8% per transaction (maximum $5.00); $1.50 per instant bank account validation
• Disputed ACH payments: $15.00

Canada

• Credit and debit cards: 2.9% + CA$0.30 per transaction
• International cards: additional 0.8%
• Currency conversion: additional 2% if the charge currency differs from your payout currency
• Pre-authorized debits (PAD): 1% + CA$0.40 per transaction (maximum CA$5.00); CA$1.00 per instant verification
• Failed and disputed PAD payments: CA$5.00

Australia

• Credit and debit cards (domestic): 1.7% + A$0.30 per transaction
• International cards: 3.5% + A$0.30 per transaction
• Currency conversion: additional 2% if required
• BECS Direct Debit / PayTo: 1% + A$0.30 per transaction (maximum A$3.50)

New Zealand

• Domestic cards: 2.65% + NZ$0.30 per transaction
• International cards: 3.7% + NZ$0.30 per transaction
• Currency conversion: additional 2% if required
• NZ BECS Direct Debit: 1% + NZ$0.40 per transaction (maximum NZ$4.00)

United Kingdom

• Standard UK cards: 1.5% + £0.20 per transaction
• Premium UK cards: 1.9% + £0.20 per transaction
• EEA cards: 2.5% + £0.20 per transaction
• International cards (non-EEA): 3.25% + £0.20 per transaction
• Currency conversion: additional 2% if required
• Bacs Direct Debit : 1% per bank account transaction (minimum £0.20)

Europe

Most European countries

• Standard EEA cards: 1.5% + €0.25 per transaction
• Premium EEA cards: 1.9% + €0.25 per transaction
• UK cards: 2.5% + €0.25 per transaction
• International cards (non-EEA/UK): 3.25% + €0.25 per transaction
• Currency conversion: additional 2% if required
• SEPA Direct Debit : €0.35 per bank account transaction

Switzerland

• Swiss cards: 2.9% + CHF 0.30 per transaction
• International cards: 3.25% + CHF 0.30 per transaction
• Currency conversion: additional 2% if required
• SEPA Direct Debit : CHF 0.40 per bank account transaction

Norway

• Norwegian and EEA cards: 2.4% + Kr 2 per transaction
• International cards (non-EEA): 3.25% + Kr 2 per transaction
• Currency conversion: additional 2% if required
• SEPA Direct Debit : Kr 3.70 per bank account transaction
