Manage Team (Advanced): Reset & Change a Team Member’s Password
Team members usually create passwords for themselves when they register, and they can also change a password at any time. However, a firm Owner and Admins have the opportunity to change it for them. There are two options:
Reset a Team Member’s Password
When a firm Owner or Admin resets a team member’s password, a reset link gets sent to the team member’s email. Here’s how to do it:
1. Go to Settings >Team & Plans, open the Team members tab, click on the three dots to the far right of the team member’s name, then click Edit.
2. Click on the pencil icon in the Edit Access Rights section.
3. Click the Reset password link at the top, then confirm.
Change a Team Member’s Password
Alternatively, a Firm owner or Admin may need to change a team member’s password.
Here are the steps:
1. Go to Settings > Team & Plans, open the Team members tab, click on the team member’s name, then click the Edit icon in the Login Details section.
2. Enter the new password twice, then click Save.
