Manage your personal TaxDome settings, including notifications, language, security, and communication preferences.
Account settings, explained
Account settings allow you to customize your personal TaxDome experience. These settings control how you receive notifications, what language you use, how your email syncs with TaxDome, your security options, and your communication preferences.
Note
The settings you configure here apply only to your account and do not affect other team members or firm-wide settings.To access your account settings:

Click your profile picture or initials at the top right of any page.

Select Account settings from the menu.
Personal and login details
Your account settings allow you to update your profile information (name, phone number, and profile picture), change your login credentials (email address and password), and adjust how long you stay signed in to TaxDome.

Weekly capacity
Note
This section is only available for firm owners and admins.Set your weekly working hours to help your firm manage team resources effectively. Weekly capacity settings specify how many hours per day you work, which helps balance workloads across the team.

Two-factor authentication (2FA)
Add an extra layer of security to your account by enabling two-factor authentication. With 2FA enabled, you’ll need to provide a verification code along with your password when signing in.
You can set up 2FA using:
- An authenticator app (Google Authenticator, Microsoft Authenticator, or similar)
- SMS backup (optional)

Notification preferences
Control which notifications you receive and how you receive them. You can choose to get notifications through Inbox+, email, or both for different types of events.

Email integration
Connect your email account to TaxDome to send and receive emails directly through the platform. Once connected, you can send emails from your personal email address within TaxDome, view client email history in their accounts, and keep all client communication in one place.
Additional email settings you can configure:
- Automatically save attachments : Automatically save attachments from client emails to their TaxDome documents
- Allow others to send from my email : Let other team members send emails using your email address without syncing their own
- Add email signature : Add a custom signature to all emails sent from TaxDome
