Mobile App: Working with documents
Access clients' documents, save them to your device, print them instantly, or move them to another folder—all from your mobile.
Tip! We recommend using the browser version or the Windows app if you need specific features, such as editing document content or bulk uploading.

Viewing documents
If you want to view a particular client's document, go to the Accounts screen and tap on the client whose documents you want to view. Then, open the Documents tab, navigate to the folder and open the file.
Searching documents
If you want to find a particular document, tap the search icon at the top right corner. Type the document's name in the search field, select Documents and open the file.
Document actions
When you access documents from a mobile app, you can:
- change the file name and/or its description by using the Edit file option
- print a document. Note: The device must be paired with a printer
- download a document to your device
- delete the file from TaxDome. Note that you can't undo the action. However, the file you accidentally deleted could be restored by accessing the Trash on the web app.
To access any of these features, open the document per the instructions above, tap the three dots in the top right corner, and then select the desired item from the menu.
Move to another folder
The Move option allows you to move a document to another folder. You can change the subfolder within the same folder and move the document to another folder to change an access level. For example, from the Client uploaded documents folder to Firm docs shared with clients or Private.
