Communication: Bulk actions

If you have several similar actions to do, instead of doing them one by one, you can perform all of them simultaneously. This is a faster and more efficient way of getting things done.

How to perform bulk actions

To perform most communication bulk actions:

  1. Go to Clients > Accounts from the left menu bar.
  2. Select the checkboxes next to the clients you want to message.
  3. Choose the option from the top menu bar, or click More Actions in the top menu bar and then choose the option from the drop-down. 

Bulk actions for emails

Send emails

With the  Send Email bulk action, you can send a personalized email to multiple recipients at once (learn about the bulk email limits here) and use email templates to speed things up. To learn more about bulk emailing, go here.

Cancel scheduled emails

Sometimes, you need to cancel all scheduled emails for an account. To do so, select accounts for which you want to cancel scheduled emails, click  More Actions in the menu bar, then select Cancel scheduled emails from the drop-down.

Bulk actions for chats

Send messages to several clients

To send the same secure message to several clients, in the  Active list, select the client accounts you want to send a message to, click More Actions in the menu bar, then select Send message from the drop-down. Here's more on sending messages in bulk.

Bulk actions with chat threads

To perform bulk actions with one client's existing chat threads, go to the client's account and open the Communication tab. There, on the Chats tab, select the chat threads to which you want to apply an action in bulk. Here, you can perform the following actions:

  1. Archive. Archive select chat threads. Read more on archiving chats.
  2. Mark as read. Mark selected threads as read.
  3. Unarchive. Unarchive selected chat threads Read more on reopening chats.
  4. Mark as unread. Mark selected chat threads as unread.
  5. Delete. Delete selected chat threads.

Bulk actions for SMS

To send the same SMS to several clients, in the  Active list, select the client accounts you want to send an SMS to, click More Actions in the menu bar, then select Send SMS from the drop-down. Here's more on sending SMS in bulk.
