Work with payments list
This article covers how to search, filter, sort, and manage your payments list. To perform actions on an individual payment, refer to the corresponding article .
To view all payments, go to Billing > Payments from the sidebar menu.

The Payments page lets you manage your payments list by searching, filtering, sorting, and customizing the table to find the payments you need.
At the top of the page, you can see totals for payments, amount paid, refunds, credit notes, and revenue.
Use the options below to get the most out of your payments list.
Search for payments
To search for a payment by description, amount, client account or invoice number, type a keyword in the search field and press Enter. Click the x in the search field to clear it.
Filter list of payments
Use filters if you need to:
- Find specific payments quickly (e.g., the concrete account payments during the consultation with the client)
- Export details of particular payments to reconcile them with other data
- Generate comprehensive financial reports (e.g., by choosing monthly payments)
To narrow down a list of payments, click Filter at the left and select the filters. You can apply several filters.
Create presets to save filter combinations, allowing them to be applied with just one click next time. To create presets, customize the desired filters and save them as a preset.

Sort list of payments
Sort payments by account, amount, date paid, status and status of QuickBooks integration . Click the up-down arrows next to the chosen column name to sort the list. The sorting option can also be applied after searching or filtering payments.
Customize columns
You can customize your payments list in various ways: resize, enable, disable, and move columns to your liking.

Resize columns: Click and hold the divider between column names and resize it by moving your mouse.

Choose which columns to display: Click the gear icon at the top right of the table.
Here, you can select the columns you want to be displayed and change their order. You can enable, disable, or move any columns you want, except for the # and Client columns. After clicking Apply, the table will be rebuilt with the new settings. Click Reset to restore all columns.

Print list of payments
To print a payment list, click the Print button at the top right of the page. Apply the print settings suggested by the browser.

| Date | The date the payment was made |
| Status | The payment can be either Paid, Verifying payment, Incomplete, or Failed status |
| Amount | How much the payment is for |
| QuickBooks | If you have synced TaxDome with QuickBooks Online, the payment sync status. Values: Synced (successfully synced ), Not synced (not synced; the paid service could have been created before sync), Syncing (sync in progress), Failed (sync error; hover over the status icon to see the error text, then fix it ), Skipped (sync was skipped for this payment) |
| Source | How the payment was made. For example, if a client paid online with a card, you’ll see Credit Card |
| Client | The name of the account. Click on it to go to the account |
| Invoices paid | The number of the paid invoice. Click on it to view the details |
| Refund | If a payment has been refunded , the amount given back |
| Description | Payment details. With offline payments, you can see who added the payment |
