Docs (Basic): Rename files & folders
You can rename any document or folder. Documents and folders can be changed by a firm owner, admin, or any employee who has been given access rights to manage documents.
Rename folders
1. In the client account, click three dots to the far right of the folder, then click Edit.
2. Type the new name for the folder, then click Save.
Rename documents
Tip! If you mainly rename client-uploaded documents so they have clear names and are easy to find, consider enabling TaxDome AI to rename documents automatically.
1. Click three dots to the far right of the document name, then select Edit.
2. Type the new name in the File name field, then click Save.
