Reporting (Basic): Your Dashboard list
Manage and track all your Dashboards in one place. Use the search to access them swiftly or apply tags to filter Dashboards by specific labels.
Dashboard list
To view all Dashboards, including prebuilt ones, go to Reporting > Dashboards from the sidebar menu.
On the Dashboards page, you will see the following columns:
- Type: Since it's the Dashboard list, Type will always be Dashboard.
- Name: Click the Dashboard name to explore it. For details, go to the article on viewing Dashboards.
- Favorite: Displays whether the Dashboard is marked as a favorite. Click the star icon next to the Dashboard to mark it as a favorite.
- Tags: Displays any tags associated with the Dashboard. Click on a tag to filter the list by that tag.
- Author: Indicates the creator of the Dashboard. It can be a team member or TaxDome.
- Last viewed: Indicates the last time you viewed the Dashboard.
Search Dashboards
To find a specific Dashboard, type a keyword, such as a Dashboard name, in the search field. Delete the keyword to view all Dashboards again.
Tag Dashboards
Reporting tags are used to filter your reports and are separated from other tags across TaxDome. There are four tags to label your reports:
- Invoices & Payments
- Made by TaxDome
- Time Entries
- Workflow
Note! Reporting tags are different from the common Tags used in all other parts of TaxDome. You cannot create or edit them.
To tag a Dashboard, select the checkbox to its left, click Edit tags and enter tags from the list. Then, click Save.
To delete a tag from a Dashboard, select the checkbox to its left, then click Edit tags and click X on the tags you want to remove.
Filter Dashboards
Click the star, Tags and Author column names to filter your Dashboards.
Sort Dashboards
Click Name, Author or Last viewed and select the sorting direction to sort your Dashboards.
Add Dashboards to favorites
When you have a big team, you can have different approaches to the reporting. Thus, you can mark the Dashboards you use frequently as favorites. Each team member has their own list of favorites.
To add the Dashboard to favorites, click the star icon to the right of the Dashboard name. Click the star icon once again, if you need to remove the Dashboard from favorites.
Share Dashboards
To share your Dashboard with team members:
1. Select the needed Dashboards from the list and click Share or click Share to the right of the Dashboard.
2. Enter the name or email address of the user or group name to share the Dashboard with.
3. If needed, send a notification and add a message to send along with sharing.
4. Set the Can view or Can edit access rights for the Dashboard.
5. Click Share to send an email with the link. If you share a single Dashboard, click Copy link to get the direct link to the dashboard.
Note! The creator and editor must enable data access to worksheets of the shared dashboards. Dashboard should be also marked as discoverable to be visible to your team members.
