Does TaxDome Collect Sales Tax?

Like many US companies, TaxDome is required to collect and remit state sales tax on behalf of our customers. Sales tax eligibility varies by location. Due to a recent Supreme Court ruling, states have become more aggressive in pursuing the collection of state tax for software. In New York state, where our product is considered taxable, TaxDome is required to collect and remit sales tax.

This is a state-by-state requirement and not a TaxDome requirement. We're simply a pass-through entity for the government request. There’s no action required by you—if you’re eligible for sales tax, it will be automatically included it in your bill. You will see the final bill amount on the Stripe checkout page.
