If clients come to your office with paper documents, you can use a scanner to save their files directly to TaxDome.

Scanning directly to TaxDome from the Windows app is not yet available in the new version. As a workaround, you can scan documents to a local folder on your computer, then drag the files into the client folder in TaxDome Drive .Save files to TaxDome Drive from your native scanner software
If you prefer to use your scanner software, you can save scanned files directly to TaxDome Drive. In your scanner software, go to the Save option, select your TaxDome Drive in File Explorer, choose the client folder, and save. The scanned file is saved to the client account on TaxDome.
Tip
Clients can scan from their mobile phone using the TaxDome iOS or Android mobile app, creating a clean PDF for your firm.Was this article helpful?
