Folder template field reference
This article describes the fields and options available when creating or editing a folder template.
| Field | Description |

| a. Template name | The name you’ll see when selecting the template. |
| b. Upload documents / Upload folder / Create folder | Upload documents: add individual files to the selected folder. Upload folder: upload an entire folder at once (see folder uploads ). Create folder: add a new top-level folder to the template structure. |
| c. Folder structure | The folder layout included in the template. Three top-level folders are provided by default: Client uploaded documents, Firm docs shared with client, and Private. Use the three-dot menu next to any folder to add a subfolder (New folder), rename or change the access level (Edit), or remove it (Delete). |
| d. Access level | Controls client visibility for each top-level folder, shown as an icon next to the folder name. Options: Client can view and edit (clients can upload and manage documents), Client can view (read-only for clients), Private (firm only). More on access levels . |
| e. Save & exit / Save / Cancel | Click Save & exit to save the template and return to the list, Save to keep your changes and continue editing, or Cancel to discard changes. |
