Email template field reference
This article describes the fields available when creating or editing an email template.
| Field | Description |

| a. Template name | The name you’ll see when selecting the template. |
| b. Mode | Determines whether contact shortcodes or account shortcodes are used in the template. More on shortcode modes . |
| c. From | The team member on behalf of whom the email is sent—what the recipient sees in the From field, regardless of who triggered it. The team member must have synced their email and enabled Allow others to send from my email in their account settings. |
| d. Thread assignee | The team member automatically assigned to manage this conversation thread —responsible for following up on client responses. |
| e. Email subject | The subject line of the email. Supports shortcodes to include dynamic data such as the recipient’s name or the date. |
| f. Add shortcode | Click to insert a shortcode into the subject to personalize it with dynamic data such as the recipient’s name, account name, or date. |
| g. Body | The email content. Two editing modes are available: WYSIWYG—supports different formatting and links; HTML—allows custom HTML code with images and links (tables are not currently supported). Use shortcodes to personalize the body with dynamic data. |
| h. Attachments | Files attached to the template. Drag-and-drop a file or click Browse files to select one or more files. Maximum total size: 20 MB. Supported file types: PDF, DOC, DOCX, XLS, XLSX, JPEG, JPG, PNG. |
| i. Save & exit / Save / Cancel | Click Save & exit to save the template and return to the list, Save to save without leaving, or Cancel to discard changes. |
