Client request template field reference

This article describes the fields available when creating or editing a client request template.

Field Description
a. Template name The name displayed in the portal. Not visible to clients.
b. Message for client (Optional) An explanation of the request using formatting, emojis, and links. Displayed in the email body when the client receives a notification about the request. Supports account and date shortcodes .
c. Client request name The name displayed in the client portal and in the notification email.
d. Add question Click to add a question. Use the gear icon to make the question optional and to add a hint. For details on question types, see client request questions .
e. Text block A block of text with links, embedded videos, and emojis.
f. Reminders (Optional) Automatic reminders sent to clients for pending requests.
g. Require sign-in When disabled, clients can respond without logging in—they can access only this specific client request, with no other client data accessible.
h. Save / Cancel Click Save to save the template, or Cancel to discard changes.
