Use filters and filter presets

This article covers how to use enhanced one-click filters and one-click filters, and how to manage filter presets . For an overview of how filters work and which pages use each version, see Filters explained . For old filters, see this article .

Use enhanced one-click filters

  1. Go to the Accounts page.

  2. Click Filter at the top left.

  3. Select the parameter that will be filtered (e.g., Tags), then select the parameter values with checkboxes (e.g., New clients, 1040).

  1. Choose an operator or select a date range.
  • Date ranges

For date-related filters (Last login, Date created, Date updated, Date, Imported at), you can choose how dates are displayed: either relative to today or using the standard calendar week. Use the Calendar ranges toggle to switch between these options.

  • Operators

For non-date filters, logical operators define how multiple values are handled:

    • Any of — returns results that match at least one of the selected values (logical OR).

    • All of — returns results that match all selected values (logical AND).

    • None of — excludes results that match any of the selected values (NOT OR).

    • Exclude all selected — excludes results that match all selected values (NOT AND).

Entries matching the specified parameters and selectors will be filtered on the page.

You can add as many filters as you like to get a specific segment. If nothing was found, use Clear all to quickly delete all filters and start over.

Use one-click filters

  1. Go to the page where one-click filters are available, e.g., Proposals & ELs.

  2. Click Filter at the top left.

  3. Select the parameter that will be filtered (e.g., Status), then select the parameter values with checkboxes (e.g., Signed, Pending).

  4. Choose an operator if present:

    • Compliance: Is (to include matches), is not (to exclude matches), is empty (to include entities for which the value was not set), is not empty (to exclude entities for which the value was not set).

    • Amount: Is equal to, is greater than, or is less than (a number for comparison should be specified).

You can filter by any parameter several times using different operators for each.

Once you’ve selected a filter, the list is narrowed down accordingly. The selected filters are shown at the top-left corner of the list. You can change the filters at any time by adding or deleting them. To reset all filters, click Edit, then Reset.

When using a filter with several parameter values (e.g., the Tags parameter with Tax and Bookkeeping values), you can click Edit to select which logic should be applied (OR or AND). Then, choose from the following options:

  • When All is selected, all filter values must match.

  • When Any is selected, at least one filter value must match.
