Team members @mentions
The @mentions feature lets you tag team members in chats, tasks, job cards, and account notes. Tagged members receive notifications, making it easy to collaborate, ask questions, or discuss topics without assigning tasks.
Where to use @mentions
You can now ping team members in:
- Account notes
- Task descriptions
- Job descriptions
- Job comments
- Team chats
- Client chats. Combine @mentions with internal messages to privately discuss specific chat topics with your team. You can also use mentions with the ordinary messages visible to everyone in the chat thread.
- Email threads. Use mentions in internal comments for your team, not visible to the clients.
How to use @mentions
You can add a @mention anywhere in the note, chat thread, internal comment in email thread, job description, job comment or task description—wherever you need to draw your colleague’s attention. You can @mention multiple team members inside one text field.
To tag someone, type the @ symbol in a text field and you will see an inline dropdown with a list of all team members. The list of names will be filtered further as you type more letters. Click to select a team member or use the arrow keys to navigate with the keyboard.
When using the mobile app, you can ping team members in:
-
Account notes. Access them from the Notes tab of the account.
-
Chat threads. Access them from the Inbox page, Chats screen or the Chats tab of the account.
- Job comments. Go to the Workflow screen, then open a job and go to the Comments tab.
To add mention, add the @ symbol and select your colleague(s) from the list.
