Mobile App: @mentions

The @mentions feature allows you to tag team members in chat threads and account notes from your mobile app. When you mention them, they receive notifications. The feature is used to collaborate with your colleagues on a project, ask them a specific question, or discuss something with them without having to assign tasks to them.

How to use @mentions

When using the mobile app, you can ping team members in:

• Account notes. Access them from the Notes tab of the account. 
• Chat threads. Access them from the Inbox page, Chats screen or the Chats tab of the account.
• Job comments. Go to the Workflow screen, then open a job and go to the Comments tab.

To add mention, add the  @ symbol and select your colleague(s) from the list.

Tip! You can tag multiple team members inside one text field.

Notifications on @mentions

By default, the user mentioned receives a push notification, an Inbox notification and an email. 

You can see all alerts on mentions from your team members by using the  Mentions filter inside the Inbox screen. 

Tap the notification to view it. On the opened screen, you can tap Open to go to a note or chat or Archive if no action is required on your part.
