Add custom integrations (Gist, Google, and more)

Want to add a calendar, chat, analytics code, or another third-party service to your website? Follow our general instructions below, or jump to the steps for a specific service.

Add custom integrations to your site

There are two ways to add a scheduler, chat, or other services that support embedding to your site:

  • Custom HTML code: Add a block with custom HTML code from an external service (such as a calendar) to a specific page of your website
  • Custom JavaScript to all pages: Add a custom script from an external service (such as Gist for real-time chat) to all pages of your website

Add custom HTML code

  1. Find the embed options for the service you’d like to add, then copy the embed code they provide.

  2. In the website builder, click Advanced, select Custom HTML, click the pencil icon in the panel on the right, paste the code, then click Apply.

Add custom JavaScript to all pages

  1. Find the JavaScript code provided by the external service you’d like to add (for example, Gist ), then copy it.

  2. In the website builder, click Settings > Pages and click Default (for all pages). Go to the Scripts tab.

  3. Select the page where you want the code to appear, paste the code according to the instructions provided by the external service, then click Apply.

Add Google Analytics

To connect Google Analytics to your website for tracking purposes:

  1. Find your Google Measurement ID (a string such as G-XXXXXXXXXX) by going to Admin in your Google Analytics account. Under Data collection and modification, click Data streams, select the Web tab, then click your web data stream. The measurement ID is displayed in the first row of the stream details.

  2. Click the gear icon in the top-right corner next to Settings. Go to Settings > Analytics, paste the ID under Google Analytics Measurement ID (v4), then click Apply to save your changes.

Add Google Conversion Tracking tag

To use Google Conversion Tracking tag on your site:

  1. Get your conversion tag from Google. See Google’s article for details.

  2. In the website builder, click Settings > Pages, select the page on the left, and open the Scripts tab.

  3. Paste the code into the Before field, then click Apply. You can also apply it to all pages if needed by selecting Default (for all pages).

Add Google Maps

To add Google Maps to your site:

  1. Before using Google Maps, you need to create an API key—a unique identifier that authenticates requests associated with your project for usage and billing purposes. Read more on how to get your API key in the Google’s article . We recommend following the Google instructions to set restrictions for your API keys to ensure only authorized requests are made.

  2. Drag and drop the Map element to the preferred page of your site.

  3. Click the element to see its options in the right panel, then paste the key under API Key.
