This is a guide for the issues you may encounter when working with TaxDome MasOS App.

My Mac Displays a “System Extension Blocked” Message


Some of the new Macs may have problems with  macFUSE (OSXFUSE) compatibility. If you received the System Extension Blocked message, you can fix it by following the next steps:

  1. Click Open System Preferences. If you click Cancel to dismiss the pop-up, you can also find these settings in the System Settings.
  2. Click on the Privacy & Security section on the left, scroll down and select the Allow applications downloaded from App Store and identified developers option.
  3. Click Enable System Extensions.

  4. In the pop-up window, click Shut Down to turn off your Mac.
  5. Next, you need to boot your Mac in macOS Recovery Mode. To do this, press and hold the power button until you see the startup options window. Select Options to run recovery mode.
  6. Select Startup Security Utility from the Utilities menu at the top of your screen.  
  7. Select the disk you want to use to set the security policy and click Unlock. Once you enter your password in the pop-up window, click Security.
  8. Next, select the following options: Reduced Security and Allow user management of kernel extensions from identified developers.
  9. Click OK, enter the correct admin password, and wait until the security level change completes.
  10. Restart your Mac to boot in normal mode.
  11. Go to Privacy & Security settings again, and click Allow next to System software from developer "Benjamin Fleischer" was blocked from loading.

  12. Enter your password if prompted and restart your Mac once again for the changes to take effect.
  13. Now, you can launch and sign in to the MacOS App and the Drive will connect automatically.
