MacOS App (Beta): Launch & Sign In
Work in progress! MacOS App is incomplete and currently available for Beta users. Docs on using the MacOS App are being prepared.
Once the TaxDome MacOS App has been installed, you’ll be able to launch it and sign in to your TaxDome account. You can launch the application directly from the Applications folder by double-clicking on the TaxDomeApp icon.
First, you'll need to sign in to your TaxDome account to start working in the application. Choose your option depending on whether you sign up:
If you have enabled two-factor authentication, please review the steps in the Two-Factor Authentication section.
Signing in with Google account
- Click Sign in with Google. This will open the Sign in with Google page in your browser.
- Click the account you want to use for TaxDome (if you logged in to your Google account) or enter your Google email and password (if you logged out).
- Click Continue.
That's it. If you enabled Two-Factor Authentication for TaxDome, proceed to the next step. If not—a TaxDome App icon will appear at the top right corner, and TaxDome Drive will connect automatically.
Signing in with email and password
- Enter your firm’s TaxDome URL you chose during registration (e.g., taxesbest.taxdome.com), email address and TaxDome password.
Note! If you're using a custom domain, don't enter it here.
- Next, click the Login button.

Two-factor authentication
If you enabled two-factor authentication in your account, you’ll also need to verify your identity by entering an authentication code.
- Open Google Authenticator or the authentication app you are using.
- Enter the code provided on your smartphone.
- Click VERIFY.
Note! The code in Google Authenticator changes every 30 seconds, so if TaxDome rejects it, enter the new one you see in the app.
