Your Firm’s Contact Details & Branding

Here's what is covered in this article:

Having completed company profile at TaxDome is really important.

  • First, your clients see firm's contact details and social media links on their dashboard, so it's better to have them up to date. 
  • Second,  all system-generated emails from TaxDome have your photo on them. Thus, uploading an actual one will ensure emails received by your clients look great. 
  • Finally, your firm's login page (client & employee facing) includes info from firm profile. You can choose whether you want your personal photo or your company logo presented and add a description of your company. 

Adding Firm Contact Details

To add/change your firm contact details:

  1. Navigate to Settings, select the Firm Profile tab.
  2. Type in the missing details, such as your firm’s email, state, street address, city, ZIP code, phone number, and website (if available) under Contact Details.
  3. Click SAVE.

Customizing Firm Login Page

By default, your  firm's login page includes only your firm name. Yet, you can personalize it by adding firm description, social media links, and firm logo (or owner photo). 

By default, firm logo is used on a login page. To use owner photo instead, navigate to Settings, select the Firm Profile tab, and then make your selection under Image to use on the login page

Adding Firm Description

Firm description is what your clients and employees see on your firm's login page. Adding firm description is an effective way to introduce your company to your clients. Besides, it helps to to create a great impression on them from the very beginning.

To add/change your firm description:

  1. Navigate to Settings, select the Firm Profile tab.
  2. Write an overview of your company under About Us.
  3. Click SAVE.

Uploading Your Photo

All system-generated emails from TaxDome have your photo on them - remember, it's your business! Besides, your photo can be displayed on your firm's login page.

To upload your photo, follow these steps:

  1. Click your name at the bottom of the sidebar, then click View Profile.
    2. Click the Edit personal details icon, then click Upload Photo to add a picture of yourself.
    3. Locate the image that you would like to upload, then crop your photo to make it look better.
    4. Click SAVE CHANGES.To update a photo, click the Upload new link, then upload the new photo as described above.

    Adding Social Media Links


    If you have social media pages for your business, let your clients know! They'll see the links on your firm's login page as well as on their dashboard.
    1. Navigate to Settings, select the Firm Profile tab.
    2. Type your URLs on Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter and/or Instagram under Social Media Links.
    3. Click SAVE.

Adding a Logo

Adding a logo is another great way to enhance firm credibility and to make your contact details look more attractive. Besides, your logo can be displayed on your firm's login page.

To add your logo:

  1. Navigate to Settings, select the Firm Profile tab.
  2. Click the Edit icon under Logo upload.
  3. Click the upload box and add an image of up to 1 Mb (JPEG, JPG, and PNG files are accepted).
  4. Click SAVE CHANGES.
    Your logo will now be displayed at the top.To update a logo, click the Delete icon, then upload the new one as described above.
